La Cabaña takes on color
So many weeks since my last post… Busy boxing and unboxing, painting, dusting, measuring, arranging, inventing and imagining. We are in our new home, and every day it reflects more of our dream to create a sweet life for the three of us — now, with Max!
Max, who keeps me from making the bed sometimes…
Max, who “helps” with my work.
Max, who leaves his little pink toy in the middle of the floor (background provided by Joseph, who is building a cedar entertainment wall — said it was either that, or the deer antlers and a gun rack).
Tucking flowers in what corners I can. $5 daffodils from the local grocery store, and an $8 orchid.
Even using the giant tub as a plant hospital. Growing 100 varieties of seed to see what grows in CO heat!
Picking up people’s unwanted items for a song.
Keeping green in my office so I can concentrate!
Note cat poetry on fridge to right.
And these lovely mini-asters line my path as I walk each day to toss the cat poop. Life’s small miracles. The asters. Poop is all too expected.
